ABB AC500 – S500 I/O modules
The AC500 PLC range consists of various CPUs, I/O modules, communication modules, communication interface modules and accessories.
We develop multifunctional and software configurable I/O modules and provide numerous basic I/O modules with different channels, signal voltage and fieldbus connections.

You can choose and combine your needed type of connection:
Central, using local I/O bus of CPU module.
Up to ten I/O modules can be connected to the CPU.
Decentralized periphery via fieldbus between CPU module and remote I/O modules.
For each fieldbus slave, up to ten I/O modules can be connected.
Multifunctional approach: some modules cover a broad range of requirements, e.g. AI531 with 8 types of different signals in one module.

ABB CP600 Control panels
The three 2nd generation control panels in screen sizes of 7″, 10.4″ and 15″ provide comprehensive HMI functions for a wide range of applications. The engineering tool PB610 Panel Builder 600, part of Automation Builder, ensures easy scalability of the CP600 platform. Same front dimensions, cutouts and screen resolutions support an easy replacement of current CP600 control panels. Black, neutral front foils and support of landscape and portrait mode installation make these devices suitable for a lot of different applications.

The CP600 control panels in screen sizes from 4.3“ to 15“ with ABB front design provide comprehensive HMI functions for various applications. The CP600 range is completed by panels in sanitary design. The engineering tool PB610 Panel Builder 600, part of the Automation Builder engineering suite, ensures easy scalability on the CP600 control panel platform.
