The Weidmuller Z-Series is one of the most widely installed families of modular DIN rail terminal blocks in industrial automation and control panel applications. All Z-Series terminals feature tension-clamp (spring-clamp) connection technology — requiring no special wire preparation, delivering high and permanently stable contact force, and enabling tool-free wiring. The high contact force and proven clamping yoke system ensure reliable connections that remain stable under vibration and thermal cycling, reducing maintenance requirements over the product lifetime.
Z-Series terminals feature generous marking surfaces, an integral test point on every terminal, and full cross-connection compatibility within the series. They are available in single-tier (ZDU) and multi-tier (ZDK) configurations across a wide range of conductor cross-sections — from 0.5 mm² up to 35 mm² — and in standard and protective earth (PE) versions. The compact design minimizes panel space while maintaining clear wiring layouts, even in high-density installations.
